Resident Immerse Ganesha Idol with Gold Necklace, Found After Local Search in Bengaluru

In Bengaluru, after offering prayers to a Ganesh idol adorned with a 60-gram gold necklace, the idol was immersed along with the necklace. In the evening, the family, remembering the gold necklace, began searching for it with the help of locals at the immersion site, and the gold necklace was found in the early morning hours.

Umadevi, a teacher, resident of Bengaluru told media that they immersed the Ganesha along with the gold ornament near Dasarhalli Circle in the city. When they returned the home, they realised about the ornament. They immediately contacted the BBMP officials and the staff who were at the immersion site. They told Umadevi that they saw the ornament but thought that it was a artificial jewelery hence did not care to remove. After a vigorous search the staff finally able to trace the ornament, she said.
